Anderson to miss remainder of 2018-19 season

Sophomore guard to undergo season-ending knee surgery
MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin sophomore guard Trevor Anderson is scheduled to undergo knee surgery and will miss the remainder of the 2018-19 season, as announced by the UW Sports Medicine staff on Thursday.
"We wish Trevor all the best and he'll have our full support as he goes through his surgery and rehab," head coach Greg Gard said. "We look forward to having him back on the court with us in the future."
Anderson appeared in eight games this season, averaging 6.9 minutes per game. The Stevens Point native tallied season totals of 13 points, nine rebounds and three assists.
Anderson sat out all of the 2017-18 season after transferring to Wisconsin from Green Bay. He has appeared in 28 career collegiate games (20 starts), averaging 7.5 points, 2.4 rebounds and 2.0 assists per game.
