Wisconsin (15-11) earned seven hits led by Brooke Wyderski and Taylor Johnson with two hits each. UNI (16-13) notched 12 hits while stranding 13 runners.

After UNI added a run in the top of the fourth, Johnson doubled up the middle and advanced to third on a sac fly by Melanie Cross. She added Wisconsin's fourth run when fellow freshman Lauren Foster singled to right field.
