MADISON, Wis. –
Matthew Comiskey scored with less with three minutes remaining to help the Wisconsin men's soccer team (2-9-2, 0-3-1) earn a 2-2 double overtime draw against SIUE (7-3-3, 1-0-0) in a non-conference match at McClimon on Tuesday.
In the first half of the game, the Badgers took control by scoring in the 29th minute. Sophomore defender
Michael Hong scored his first career goal on a corner kick.
The next two goals would be scored by the Cougars in the second half. One of which was in the 52
nd minute followed by another in the 79
th. The Badgers would respond with three minutes left. Mathew Comiskey scored his second goal of the season off a
Grant Tostenrud assist to make it a 2-2 game.
In his career debut,
Beto Spielvogel recorded two saves.
