MADISON Wis. – The No. 10 Wisconsin women's soccer team continued its NCAA success on Friday night, dispatching in-state rival Milwaukee, 1-0, in a first-round game of the 2019 NCAA Women's Soccer Championship at the McClimon Soccer Complex.
Thanks to the win, the Badgers (15-3-2), have advanced to the second round of the NCAA tournament for the fourth-straight year.
Wisconsin took the advantage early, scoring on Milwaukee (17-2-1) in the 24th minute.

Dani Rhodes who placed it in the back of the net for her 12th goal this season, eight of which have been game-winning efforts.
UW continued pressuring the Panthers in the second half, outshooting MKE 7-2, but held off a late Milwaukee charge to punch their ticket to the second round.
Jordyn Bloomer made a pair of second-half saves to improve to 15-3-2 in net for UW this year and to earn her 11th clean sheet of the year.
