Badgering past the Buckeyes

UW comes out on top in Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio – In their last regular season Big Ten game of the year, the Badgers traveled to Ohio State and won 1-0.
With lots on the line headed into playoff season, the Badgers (3-10-4, 1-4-3 Big Ten) had a lot to prove against the Buckeyes (6-9-1, 1-6-1 Big Ten), and did so in a winning fashion.
In the first half of play, Ohio State outshot UW, 7-2. Senior goalkeeer Dean Cowdroy recorded two saves to keep the score 0-0 in the first half. The offense couldn't get on the scoreboard and the Badgers struggled with cards. The refs handed out two yellow cards in the first 16 minutes of the game.
Quickly into the second half the Badger offense made a statement scoring in the 52nd minute of the game. Zach Klancnik scored off the Duncan Storey assist to give the Badgers the lead in the game.

The UW defense stayed solid throughout the game and were able to shutout the Buckeyes. Cowdroy recorded another two saves to help the Badgers secure a win in their last Big Ten game of the regular season.
