MADISON, Wis. – Three members of the Wisconsin volleyball team will travel to Anaheim, California, next week to participate in a spring training block with the U.S. Women's National Team. The training block will be held at the American Sports Center from Saturday through March 23.

Tionna Williams are part of a group of 17 athletes that will be evaluated for additional training this summer with the full U.S. Women's National Team with the opportunity to make international rosters, including the Pan American Games and Pan American Cup.
"For those of us on the U.S. Women's National Team staff, every day we get to work with dedicated people pursuing mastery is a great day," U.S. Women's National Team Head Coach Karch Kiraly said. "We're pumped for the opportunity to work with this group, and excited to see how they all develop over the next several years. Finally, a gratitude shout out for all those people with remaining college eligibility, a big thank you to all of their college programs whose support made this training camp possible."
A 6-foot setter, Hilley led the Big Ten and ranked fourth in the nation with 11.98 assists per set in 2018. She was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) second-team All-American last season as well as first-team All-Big Ten and AVCA All-Northeast region. The Brooklyn Park, Minnesota, native also added 2.41 digs per set, which ranked third on the team, tallying a team-best 16 double-doubles last season.

A two-time AVCA first-team All-American, Rettke is also a two-time All-Big Ten and two-time AVCA All-Northeast region pick. The 6-foot-8 middle blocker led the Big Ten and ranked second nationally with a hitting percentage of .423 in 2018. She also led the conference and ranked sixth nationally with 1.54 blocks per set while ranking seventh in the Big Ten with 3.74 kills per set. The Riverside, Illinois, native was named the 2017 AVCA National Freshman of the Year.

Williams wrapped up her career as a three-time AVCA All-American and two-time All-Big Ten pick. The 6-foot-2 middle blocker finished her career with 1,009 kills, becoming the 22
nd Badger to tally 1,000 kills in a career. The Fort Wayne, Indiana, native also recorded 512 blocks in her career, just the sixth UW athlete to finish with more than 1,000 kills and 500 blocks in four seasons. Â
