PHILADELPHIA – A day after breaking the school record in the 4x200 relay at the Penn Relays, the Wisconsin women's track and field team was back to its record-breaking ways on Saturday, shattering the program record in the 4x400 meter relay.
Bianca Stubler,
Gabby DesRosiers,
Ebony McClendon and
Haley Lubow set the record in the championship round at the Penn Relays, finishing with a time of 3 minutes, 37.85 seconds, which is the fifth best time in the Big Ten. The group finished runner-up in the event.
The group broke the previous school record set at last year's Big Ten outdoor championships of 3:38.70 that was run by DesRosiers, Brianna Detra, Stubler and Lubow.
During the indoor season, Stubler, DesRosiers, McClendon and Lubow set the indoor school record in the 4x400 with a time of 3:39.43.

On the record-breaking relay:
"Our women's 4x4 did a fantastic job out there this afternoon. 3:37.85 in these conditions is pretty awesome. The wind was nasty out on the oval. Coach (Kareem) Jackson did a nice job keeping this team focused and they did not allow the conditions get to them. They have not put all the splits up yet, but
Bianca Stubler's announced split of 52.96 is next level. Haley(56.4),(Gabi(53.5), Bianca(52.96), and Ebony(55.0) once again rewrite our record books and I'm thrilled for them. This performance puts us in a good spot heading into Big Tens and should be a qualifying time for the NCAA West Prelims.
