MADISON, Wis.- The Badgers fought hard on Tuesday in the match play portion of the East-West Match Play Challenge but fell short against the Iowa State Cyclones as a team.Â
Coming off both a team win and an individual win on Monday for the stroke portion, the Badgers couldn't quite carry the energy over into Tuesday's play.
Tess Hackworthy, who claimed the individual title for stroke play, was the only Badger to win against her opponent. She finished two-up against Taglio Jeeravivitaporn.
On the individual side, the Badgers had just one competitor, redshirt junior
Bobbi Stricker, who claimed the individual stroke play title. She defeated Louisa Brundt of Texas Tech with a one-up final score of six to five after playing three extra holes.
