MADISON, Wis. – A pair of non-conference foes await the No. 16 Wisconsin women's soccer team this week as UW heads to Chicago to face Loyola on Thursday before heading back to the McClimon Soccer Complex to host Green Bay on Sunday in a 1 p.m. contest.

1. A LOOK BACK: The Badgers are coming off two thrilling overtime wins last weekend in Madison as UW clipped Marquette, 1-0, on Thursday as Lauren Rice scored her sixth-career game-winning goal in the first overtime.
Three days later against Butler, Cammie Murtha was the hero for the Badgers as she scored her first of the season to give UW a 2-1 win over the Bulldogs. Jordan McNeese also scored in the game for the Cardinal and White.

2. BRICK-WALL BLOOMER: Junior Jordyn Bloomer has been steady in net for the Cardinal and White this year as she has two shutouts and a goals-against average of 0.48. In her career, Bloomer now has 10 shutouts, which is one away from cracking the program's top-10 list.

3. WE HAVE HISTORY: UW is 6-0 all time against Loyola and have outscored the Ramblers 20-3 in their previous matchups. Last season, the Badgers defeated the Ramblers, 2-1, thanks to goals from Natalie Viggiano and Lauren Rice.

The Badgers are also perfect against Green Bay with a 16-0-0 record against the Phoenix. The last time the two teams met was in 2012 as UW earned a 2-0 win in Green Bay.

4. STRAIGHT FROM THE PITCH: 5. UP NEXT: The Badgers will wrap up their non-conference slate with a road trip to Los Angeles to take on No. 2 UCLA on Saturday, Sept. 14. It will mark the second time this year UW has faced a top-five team in the country.
