Wisconsin returns to the courts in the sunshine state
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin men's tennis team is back and ready for their spring season to start. The Badgers are heading south to Miami, Florida to compete in the Miami Invitational this weekend, from Jan. 10-12.
1. WESTERMAN'S WING: "We have had two great days of practice and the guys came back from winter break ready to get to work. This "pre-season" camp allows us to get a ton of work done while also getting a chance to have some fun together as a team which is equally important to start the season. The competition will be extremely tough which is very exciting and motivating for our team. We will get a chance to test out some different lineup combinations as we continue to test our players for the upcoming dual match season." - head coach Danny Westerman
2. BACK IN ACTION: After a long, cold two-months, Wisconsin has returned to the courts in the sunshine state to begin spring play. The Badgers concluded their fall season at the Gopher Invitational in November, where Scott Sculley and Lenard Soha became runners-up in the doubles bracket.
