1. Thank you, SENIORS:Â Before the match on Thursday, the Badgers will honor the seven members of their senior class: Michael Cullen, No. 1 Seth Gross, No. 4 Tristan Moran, No. 15 Cole Martin, No. 21 Johnny Sebastian, Taylor Watkins and the late Eli Stickley. As a class, they have won more than 430 matches, one NCAA championship, two Midlands championships and have helped the team to a No. 4 ranking.
2. Midlands Rematch:Â Johnny Sebastian will get a chance at redemption in front of the home crowd on Thursday. The redshirt senior will have another try at No. 4 Taylor Lujan. The two 184 pounders faced off at the 2019 Midlands Championship, where Lujan won the 7-4 decision to knock Sebastian out of the tournament.
3. Down goes Michigan:Â The Badgers bounced back in a B1G way on Sunday. After losing to No. 2 Penn State and unranked Michigan State last weekend, the Badgers welcomed No. 17 Michigan to town. Wisconsin took the dual from them, thanks to a technical fall from Seth Gross and close victories from Cole Martin and Tristan Moran, with a final score of 20-12.
4. Just Dow It:Â Tyler Dow got the start at 174 pounds on Sunday against Michigan and notched his first home victory of his collegiate career. Dow bested Michigan's Max Maylor, also a Wisconsin native, in a 4-3 decision. Dow, the redshirt freshman out of Stoughton, got his first home victory.
