
DMR moves to No. 2 on Wisconsin's all-time list

Olivia Roberts sets personal best in weight throw
MADISON, Wis. — It was a near record-setting day for the Wisconsin women's track and field team as it finished up competition before indoor championship season begins. The distance medley relay competed at the Alex Wilson Invitational in Notre Dame, Indiana, and the UW throwers competing at the Panther Tune-Up in Milwaukee on Saturday.
The distance medley relay consisting of Madison Mooney, Gabby DesRosiers, Bianca Stubler and Alicia Monson edged out Michigan to win in a time of 11 minutes, 5.27 seconds. This performance moved the relay into second on the Wisconsin all-time top performers list. DesRosiers, Stubler and Monson are part of the school record holding relay along with Alissa Niggemann with a time of 10:59.72. Mooney ran the opening 1,200 meters in 3:26.7, DesRosiers followed with a 53.7 leg in the 400 meters, Stubler ran the 800 meters in 2:11.9 and Monson ran the 1,600 meters in 4:33.2.
For the Badger throwers, Olivia Roberts and Chloe Lindeman went 1-2 in the weight throw at the Panther Tune-Up. Roberts won the weight throw with a personal best throw of 60 feet, 3 inches. Lindeman placed second in the weight throw with a personal best throw of 59-5 1/2 competing unattached. Lindeman also won the shot put with a personal best throw of 47-2 1/2.
