Junior shoots new career low
MEDINAH, Ill. — Wisconsin finished the Illini Women's Invitational in 14th with an 882 (+18).
Emily Lauterbach was the team's top finisher, coming in T33 with a one-over-par 217. This score ties her 54-hole career low.
The Badgers finished the second round on Tuesday morning with a 298. Freshman Vanessa Ho carded the lowest score of that round with an even 72.
Teams immediately began the third round and Wisconsin shot a final round score of 293 (+5) to finish ahead of Big Ten competitor Indiana.
Nicole Ciskowski, Mackenzie Hahn and Tracy Lee all shot a one-over-par 73 to lead the Badgers in the final round.
Wisconsin has one tournament remaining for the fall season. The team will travel to Louisville on October 25-26 for the Club at Olde-Stone Invitational.
Wisconsin was able to complete the first round and start the second round of the Illini Women's Invitational before play was suspended on Monday afternoon.
The second round will resume at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday and the final round will begin immediately following the completion of the second round.
