Wisconsin hosts Minnesota at Nielsen Tennis Stadium

MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin women's tennis team is set to compete in its first dual match of the season hosting rival Minnesota on Sunday. The match will begin with doubles play at 11 a.m. (CT) at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.

1. A Solid Head Start: Wisconsin had a triumphant weekend at the Wisconsin Invitational last weekend. Over the course of their home-opening event, the Badgers earned a total of 12 singles victories and five wins in doubles.

2. Scouting Minnesota: Last week at the Wisconsin Invitational, Antonela Stoica, Xinyu Cai, Ava Markham, Jordana Ossa, and Charmaine Seah locked in straight-set wins against their Minnesota opponents. The Badgers also earned two doubles victories against Minnesota.

3. B1G Layout: This season's Big Ten schedule consists of 17 dual matches for Wisconsin, including seven at Nielsen Tennis Stadium. The Badgers will also host this year's Big Ten Tournament, Apr. 28-May 2. Fans can find the updated schedule here.
