Women's swim and both diving teams to compete this week, followed with men's swimming

MADISON, Wis. - The Wisconsin swimming and diving teams are headed to compete in the Big Ten Championships over the next two weeks. The women's swimming championships will take place in Minneapolis, Minnesota and kick off Feb. 23 and finish Feb. 27. Both men's and women's diving will compete Feb. 24 - Feb. 27 in West Lafayette, Indiana. The men's swimming team will wrap up competition in Columbus, Ohio, Mar. 2 - Mar. 6.

Who to watch: Freshman swimmer, Phoebe Bacon, will be competing in her first Big Ten Championship meet and she is on the hunt for her first medal. After winning swimmer of the week and freshman of the week twice this season, Bacon is a triple threat in the 100 backstroke, 200 backstroke and 200 IM.

After sweeping the diving competition in the last meet of the regular season, Tazman Abramowicz is on a roll in his senior campaign.
