MADISON, Wis. - The Badgers travel to Geneva, Ohio, to compete in the Big Ten Indoor Championships on Thursday-Saturday at The SPIRE. Men's heptathlon will begin at 10 a.m. with the 60-meter dash on Thursday. The men's heptathlon will also kick off the day on Friday with the 60-meter hurdles at 10:30 a.m. Men's field and running events will begin at 11 a.m. on Saturday.Â

1. ROOKIE'S TOP-RANKED: Freshman Abdullahi Hassan has been a force to be reckoned with during his rookie season. Hassan holds two top-three spots in the Big Ten. The Ontario native sits at No.2 in the Big Ten and No.7 in the nation for the 800-meters with a time of 1 minute, 48.61 seconds. Indiana's Cooper Williams holds the No.1 spot with a time of 1:48.09. Hassan sits at No.3 for the 600-meters in 1:18.11. Illinois' Aman Thornton sits at No.2 (1:18.06) and Indiana's Cooper Williams sits at No.1 (1:16.80).
2. JACKSON IS SHARP: Sophomore Jackson Sharp broke the four-minute mark in the mile at the Hawkeye B1G Invitational. His time of 3:59.25 earned him the No.3 spot in the Big Ten. Michigan's Tim Dodd sits at No.2 (3:58.47) and Nebraska's George Kusche holds the No.1 spot (3:57.74).
3. ELLENBERG AND WHEELER GOT WHEELS: Rowen Ellenberg and Charlie Wheeler rank in the top five in the Big Ten for the 3,000-meter run. Ellenberg holds the No.3 spot with a time of 7:58.32 and Wheeler comes in a tenth of a second behind at No.4 with a time of 7:58.42.
4. STONE CAN THROW: Â Redshirt freshman Andrew Stone holds the No.5 spot in the Big Ten with a throw of 60-10 in the shot put. This throw comes from the Hoosier Hills Invitational, which was his first collegiate meet.
5. THREE BADGERS IN TOP-10 FOR HEPTATHLON: Quinn Lansill, Cade Amborn and Max Herkert all sit in the top 10 for the heptathlon. Lansill holds the No.6 spot (4,925 points), Amborn sits at No.7 (4,849) and Herkert closes it out for the Badgers sitting at No.10 (4,085).
