MADISON, Wis. -- Playing for the first time in Madison during the 2021 season, Wisconsin men's soccer team (0-5-0) dropped a 4-0 contest on the Near West Fields, Thursday afternoon, in its second matchup with Indiana (3-1-0).
UW fell behind on an IU goal in the 26th minute, but earned a golden opportunity to equalize in the 42nd minute, when junior forward
Noah Melick found himself moving left with the ball in front of the IU goal. Melick shot back right, but IU keeper Roman Celentano got his leg on the shot.
Indiana tallied three more goals throughout the second, in the 47th, 55th and 81st minutes.
The Badgers held a 6-5 shots on goal advantage in the contest.
