OAK RIDGE, Tenn. — Day two of the Cardinal Invitational was another good outing for the Wisconsin women's rowing teams in their opening weekend of competition.
"Overall this weekend was a huge success," said lightweight coach Dusty Mattison. "We focused on just having fun racing together. I was impressed by how effectively they were able to translate the work we've done on land into the boat after such a long time away. It shows we have a solid foundation and I'm excited to see where we go from here."
Only taking part in the morning portion of racing on Sunday, Wisconsin saw competition against Notre Dame and Tulsa.
