MADISON, Wis. -- The Wisconsin men's tennis team put up a tough fight on Friday before ultimately falling 5-2 in its dual match with Indiana at Nielsen Tennis Stadium.
Â
Despite falling short in singles, the Badgers (3-8, 3-7 Big Ten) fought hard to clinch the doubles point. At the second position,
Lenard Soha and
Jesper Freimuth had a strong 6-2 win over Indiana's Bennett Crane and Luka Vukovic. That put the Badgers' No. 1 doubles pair of
Jared Pratt and
Robin Parts in the deciding position. Parts and Pratt clinched the doubles point for Wisconsin with their 6-4 win over Andrew Redding and Patrick Fletchell.
Â
Pratt picked up the lone singles win for the Badgers with his 6-1, 6-2 victory over Redding at No. 2 singles.
