AWENDAW, S.C. — Wisconsin finished Hootie at Bulls Bay in sixth place on Tuesday afternoon. The Badgers shot a collective one-over-par 865 over the three-day tournament to finish in seventh place.

Cameron Huss and Nick Robinson led Wisconsin, both shooting one-under-par (215) and carding 11 birdies each to finish tied for 19th. Huss is currently a freshman and Robinson a redshirt senior, making them the yongest and the oldest players competing for the Badgers at Hootie at Bulls Bay.

For the first round, Griffin Barela and Robinson led the team, both shooting 70 (-2).

Individual entry Robbie Morway shot an even-par 72 during the first round to mark a new 18-hole career-low score. His previous best was a 76 which he shot at the Badger Invitational in 2017.

Huss and Coalter Smith both shot a 71 (-1) to lead the team through the second round.

Morway also shot a 36-hole career-low of 154 between the first and second rounds.

In the final round, Robinson shot a two-under-par (70) while Huss shot one-under. Huss tied his 54-hole career-low at 215.

Morway shot a one-under-par 71 in the final to set another new 18-hole career low and a 54-hole career-low of 225. His previous best was 233.

"It was great to get out there and compete after some time off," said Robinson. "I'm proud of this group, we know we are close to breaking out."

The team went 286-291-288 to finish at one-over-par. Over the three days, the Badgers carded 47 birdies and individual Morway had eight.

"We have a really good group going right now," said head coach Mike Burcin. "One to five we are deep and there is nobody in this top-five that can't fire three- or four-under-par on any day on any course. I'm excited for the rest of the spring."

Next up, the team heads to West Lafayette, Indiana on April 10 and 11 to compete in the Boilermaker Intercollegiate at Kampen Course.
