1. LAST TIME OUT: UW is coming off of a convincing sweep of Rutgers, earning three run-rule wins against the Scarlet Knights. The Badgers oustscored RU 32-3 in the four-game set in Pistacaway and had eight home runs, which was the season total UW had heading into the weekend series. Eight Badgers had multiple hits during the series, led by Fiona Girardot and Skylar Sirdashney who each had six hits apiece.
2. FIONA IS ON FIRE: One of the catalysts for the Badgers' recent success is sophomore Fiona Girardot, who record six hits in each of the Badgers' last two series. Over the last two weekends, the sophomore is hitting .545 with 12 hits, six extra-base hits and eight runs, which ranks second on the team during the span.
3. PIN-POINT PITCHING: The Badgers have allowed a Big Ten-low 33 walks through 28 games led by Haley Hestekin, who has allowed only six free passes in 39.2 innings pitched.
