MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin men's basketball returns to the Kohl Center for a Border Battle matchup Sunday. Tip is at noon and the game will be televised on Big Ten Network. Before the Badgers take on Minnesota, here is the Starting Five:
1.) Breaking Records: UW brought home a 73-65 win at Nebraska on Thursday night. Senior
Brad Davison became the sole leader in career 3-point field goals and scored a team-high 21 points to push Wisconsin to the victory.
Tyler Wahl rejoined the starting lineup after missing the last game due to injury, scoring four points and adding a game-high 10 rebounds. Returning to the Husker state for the first time as a Badger, freshman point guardÂ
Chucky Hepburn put up 13 points and three steals.
2.) Back on Top:Â At 7-2 in conference play, Wisconsin sits in a tie for first place with Illinois in the Big Ten standings. During league play, the Badgers have won four-straight games on the road. Looking ahead, UW will see Minnesota, No. 24 Illinois, and Penn State in a span of seven days.

3.) Coaches vs. Cancer: If you didn't catch it while watching Wisconsin's game Thursday at Nebraska, keep an eye out for head coach
Greg Gard sporting pink shoes during Sunday's game, while staff and players will wear pink laces in support of Gard's mother, Connie, who is undergoing treatment for breast cancer. This week, the Badgers are participating in Coaches vs. Cancer "Suits and Sneakers Week."
4.) Above the Rest: Johnny Davis ranks favorably in a number of major statistical categories in the Big Ten conference, averaging 21.7 points (2
nd), 7.5 rebounds (10
th), and 1.4 steals (10
th) per game. The sophomore leads Wisconsin with 2.6 assists per contest.
5.) Border Battle History: While Minnesota leads the all-time series with Wisconsin, 104-103, the Badgers have won 11 of the last 13 matchups against their Border Battle rival. The rivalry began on the hardwood in 1900 and holds a distinct advantage to the home team. In games played in Madison, the Badgers are 66-34 against the Gophers during the all-time series.
