MADISON, Wis. — The Badgers are back on the road this week for a non-conference series at Minnesota Duluth on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 21-22.

1 - FIRSTS OF THE SEASON: Two Badgers netted their first goals of the season last weekend against St. Cloud State.
Junior forward Mathieu De St. Phalle got the Badgers on the board when he battled for a loose puck in front of the net for his first of the season. He led the roster last year with 10 goals and 12 assists for 22 points in 36 games.
Sophomore defenseman and Columbus Blue Jackets draft pick Corson Ceulemans scored a show-stopping equalizer the following night.
2 - BADGERS ON BTN: Wisconsin men's hockey along with the Big Ten Conference announced the remainder of the 2022-23 TV schedule that includes four games airing on Big Ten Network.
Big Ten Network coverage of the Badgers kicks off on Friday, Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. CT when Wisconsin travels to Minnesota for a rivalry series. Coverage resumes on Saturday, Jan. 7 at 5:30 p.m. CT when Wisconsin hosts Notre Dame. A second border battle with Minnesota will air on Big Ten Network when the Badgers play host to the Gophers on Saturday, Feb. 11 at 5 p.m. CT. Converge concludes on Friday, Feb. 17 when the Badgers play host to Michigan State at 8 p.m. CT.
3 - IN THE BIG LEAGUES: A total 13 former-Badgers cracked NHL opening-night rosters across 11 different NHL teams to start the 2022-23 season.
After a dazzling pre-season performance, Dylan Holloway cracked the Edmonton Oilers' roster and is poised to take on top-six minutes alongside some of the league's leading scorers. Holloway became the 91st Badger to skate in the NHL when he made his debut with Edmonton in the 2022 Western Conference Final. The former Badger out of Bragg Creek, Alberta is definitely a key player to watch for Badger fans this season.

4 - LAST TIME OUT: The last time Wisconsin faced Minnesota Duluth was in their 2019-20 home-opener. The Badgers swept the reigning 2019 and 2018 national champions. Then-freshman forward Owen Lindmark netted two goals in what was his first game as a Badger in the Kohl Center to help UW to a 6-2 win.
The last time the Badgers traveled to Minnesota Duluth was in 2012 where they notched one win and a tie against the Bulldogs.
5 - SCOUTING DULUTH: The Bulldogs are 2-2-0 so far this season and are coming off a pair of losses to No. 2 Minnesota State. Owen Gallatin leads the roster with one goal and two assists in four games, followed by Ben Steeves with two goals in two games.
