2023 Badger football schedule announced

MADISON, Wis. – It's never too early to start planning for Badger football. On Wednesday, the Big Ten officially announced the 2023 football schedule.
With the schedule now set, Badger fans can purchase new season tickets. Limited lower bowl seating is available for next season.
UW plays seven games at Camp Randall Stadium, beginning with the season opener against Buffalo on Sept. 2. Following a trip to Washington State, the Badgers host Georgia Southern to wrap up the non-conference season on Sept. 16.
A road game at Purdue on Sept. 23 opens the Big Ten season, followed by an off week. Back-to-back home games against Rutgers (Oct. 7) and Iowa (Oct. 14) then precede a trip to Illinois on Oct. 21.
The next week, Oct. 28, Ohio State makes its first appearance at Camp Randall since 2016.
November starts with a road game at Indiana on Nov. 4 before UW finishes the season with three games against West Division foes. Northwestern (Nov. 11) and Nebraska (Nov. 18) travel to Madison before the Badgers close the season with Border Battle rival Minnesota on Nov. 25 in Minneapolis.
Wisconsin has two home games remaining this season, on Nov. 5 against Maryland and Nov. 26 against Minnesota. Limited tickets are still available for both games.
