Markham and Sholokhova go 2-0 in doubles matches
SAN JUAN, P.R. – On Sunday the Wisconsin women's tennis team finished up the Vanderbilt San Juan Invitational, ending the weekend on an extremely high note. Maria Sholokhova and Ava Markham went 2-0 on the weekend in their doubles matches, both of which were against Florida State. On Saturday they faced off against Vic Allen and Kianah Motosono and won 6-3; the next day they faced Anna Arkadianou and Vic Allen, winning once again by a score of 6-4.
Next up for the Badgers is the Duke & NC State Invitational in Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina. This invitational starts on Friday, November 4 and runs until Sunday, Novemrber 6 with Taylor Cataldi, Anisha Apte, Alina Mukhortova and Xinyu Cai all participating.Â
