MADISON, Wis. — The fourth-ranked Wisconsin women's hockey team opens up postseason play with a best-of-three series against Bemidji State in the opening round of the WCHA Playoffs. Puck drop on Friday is set for 7 p.m., Saturday's contest begins at 3 p.m. while Sunday's game, if necessary, will begin at 2 p.m.
Tickets are $7 for adults, $5 for Senior Citizens (55+) and Youth (ages 2-17), and $2 for UW-Madison Students. Children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket.
Due to the WIAA State Wrestling Tournament going on at the Kohl Center, parking will be limited around LaBahn Arena on Friday and Saturday. Parking in Lots 29, 46, 83 and 91 will be $10 per day, while parking in City of Madison Ramps will be $8.
Fans can watch the series online through B1G+, while Friday and Saturday's games can be heard on 1070 AM as Reid Magnum and
Mark Greenhalgh have the call. Sunday's game would be broadcasted on 1310 WIBA AM.
1. LAST TIME OUT: The Badgers are coming off of a tough weekend at Ohio State, dropping a pair of contests to the second-ranked Buckeyes.

Cami Kronish made a career-high 43 saves in Saturday's 2-1 setback.
2. STELLAR IN THE CLASSROOM: Nine Badgers were named WCHA Scholar Athletes on Tuesday, including
Grace Bowlby, who was named a four-time recipient of one of the league's highest academic honors. On Wednesday, 18 Badgers were named to the WCHA All-Academic Team as every student-athlete that was eligible for the award received it. UW's 18 honorees ranked second in the WCHA.
3. ALL-WCHA TEAMS: Wisconsin had seven different players named to All-WCHA teams on Thursday morning.
Daryl Watts was named All-WCHA First Team for the third season in a row and joined by defender
Nicole LaMantia.
Grace Bowlby was the lone Badgers named All-WCHA Second Team.
Kennedy Blair,
Casey O'Brien and
Makenna Webster all earned a spot on Third Team and freshman
Sarah Wozniewicz claimed a spot on the All-WCHA Rookie team.
4. BEAVER THROWBACK: The Badgers faced the Beavers four times during the regular season. Wisconsin hosted the first series in early November. The teams tied the first game 0-0 and Wisconsin ran away with the second game 8-1. The teams then met at Bemidji State in early November and Wisconsin swept the series, winning the first game 5-1 and the second game 5-2.
Daryl Watts has seven goals and three assists in four games against the Beavers this season.
5. WCHA FINAL FACEOFF: Should Wisconsin win the series, the team will advance to the WCHA Final Faceoff in Minneapolis the following weekend. The semifinal games of the Final Faceoff will play on Saturday and the final will be played on Sunday at Ridder Arena. Wisconsin would face the winner of the Ohio State/St. Cloud State series at 4 p.m. on Saturday and the Final Faceoff championship game is scheduled for 1 p.m. on Sunday.
