Badgers defeat Fighting Illini on the road

Wisconsin wins the match 5-2
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's tennis team earned a 5-2 win onver Illinois on the road in Champaign on Sunday.
Standing out for the Badgers was Alina Mukhortova after she won her singles match 3-6, 6-2, 6-0. She also helped the Badgers clinch the doubles point with her partner Xinyu Cai after defeating Illinois' Josie Frazier and Ashley Yeah.
Freshman Taylor Cataldi also had an outstanding match, taking her match to three sets. Cataldi defeated Kasia Treiber 3-6, 6-4, 7-6 extending the Badgers lead to 5-2.
