Huven and Stubler win events at Bobcat Invitational

Badgers end weekend in Texas
AUSTIN, Tex. – The Wisconsin women's track and field team wrapped its weekend of competition in the state of Texas on Saturday. The Badgers competed at the Texas Relays and also won two events at the Bobcat Invitational.
Also at Texas, redshirt senior Josie Schaefer picked up two top-six finishes in the throws. The Baraboo native placed third in the shot put at 55 feet, 7 3/4 inches and finished sixth in the discus at 174-3.
Senior Bianca Stubler ended her weekend with an impressive performance in the 400 meters. Stubler won the race with a personal best time of 53.42, which places her as second all-time for UW. She is just .41 seconds of the school record of 53.01 set by Pam Moore in 1981. Stubler broke Moore's 41-year old school record during the 2022 indoor season.

Robbins runs second-best 100 time ever
Sophomore Kiley Robbins placed seventh in the 100 meters with a wind-aided time of 11.37 seconds. The time was Robbin's second-fastest ever but as she ran a wind-aided time of 11.36 in 2021. Robbins ran a school record 11.44 on Friday.Also at Texas, redshirt senior Josie Schaefer picked up two top-six finishes in the throws. Stubler, Huven win events at Bobcat
Junior Destiny Huven continued her success in the 100-meter hurdles, winning the event at the Bobcat Invitational. Huven ran a season's best time of 13.16, just off her school-record time of 13.02. ÂSenior Bianca Stubler ended her weekend with an impressive performance in the 400 meters. Stubler won the race with a personal best time of 53.42, which places her as second all-time for UW. She is just .41 seconds of the school record of 53.01 set by Pam Moore in 1981.
