Wisconsin earns No. 4 seed in Big Ten tournament
MADISON, Wis. – The No. 46 Wisconsin women's tennis team concluded its regular season with a 7-0 victory at Indiana on Sunday.

The Badgers finished the regular season tied for third place in the Big Ten conference standings with an overall record of 16-8 and an 8-3 mark in league play.
Winners in five of its last six matches, Wisconsin enters the Big Ten tournament with the fourth overall seed. Earning a double bye, UW will play in the quarterfinals on Friday, April 29 at 6 p.m. CT.

The No. 70 doubles pair of Xinyu Cai and Alina Mukhortova got things rolling early for the Badgers, clinching the doubles point for Wisconsin.

Freshman Taylor Cataldi continued the momentum in singles play, earning the first singles point for the Badgers by sweeping Indiana's Sayda Hernandez, 6-0, 6-0.

Charmaine Seah and Antonela Stoica earned singles wins for the Badgers, extending both of their singles win streaks to 5-0.

Mukhortova, Cai and Ava Markham also earned singles victories for Wisconsin.
