Throwers win two events at Whitewater
MADISON, Wis. – The Wisconsin women's track and field team wrapped up a busy weekend on Saturday after competing in three different meets over two days. Â
Wisconsin also placed 10th in the distance medley relay at Penn. The team of Niggemann (3:25.7 for 1200 meters), Ali Dorn (54.67 for 400 meters), Watcke (2:10.2 for 800 meters) and Heiligenthal (4:43.5 for 1600 meters) crossed in 11:14.12, the ninth fastest time in program history.
Stubler was also a member of the 12th-place distance medley relay. The team of Peyton Sippy (3:38.1 for 1200 meters), Stubler (55.3 for 400 meters), Cailyn Biegalski (2:14.3 for 800 meters) and Samantha Stieve (5:01.3 for 1600 meters) finished in 11:48.98.

Destiny Huven finished fifth in the 100-meter hurdles, crossing in 13.96 while Tia Dorshorst placed ninth in the pole vault at 12 feet, 8 1/2 inches.
Redshirt junior Olivia Roberts won the hammer throw with a toss of 193-0, edging teammate Chloe Lindeman, who finished second with a throw of 191-10.
In the discus, redshirt freshman Danni Langseth competed unattached and won the discus with a collegiate best throw of 166-9.

4x1500-meter relay runs second best time
At the Penn Relays, Wisconsin finished seventh in the Championship of American 4x1500-meter relay, running the second-fastest time in program history. The team of Emma Watcke, Lucinda Crouch, Alissa Niggemann and Victoria Heiligenthal crossed in 17 minutes, 34.43 seconds, ranking second behind the school record of 17:22.72 set by Pam Hinton, Mary Hartzheim, Maureen Hartzheim and Suzy Favor in 1990.Wisconsin also placed 10th in the distance medley relay at Penn. Senior Bianca Stubler finished third in the 400-meter hurdles, running a personal best time of 57.19.
