Another six former UW players signed free agent deals
MADISON, Wis. -- A total of 11 former Badgers found homes in the NFL over the weekend as five players were taken in the draft and another six signed free agent deals. The five players chosen in the draft tied for the most Badgers taken in a single draft under head coach Paul Chryst (2018). The last time UW had more than five players taken in the draft was 2012 (6).

- TE Jake Ferguson – picked in the fourth round by the Dallas Cowboys

- CB Faion Hicks – picked in the seventh round by the Denver Broncos
- WR Danny Davis III – signed as a free agent with the Green Bay Packers
- S Scott Nelson – signed as a free agent with the Seattle Seahawks
