MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin men's basketball sophomore forward Markus Ilver will have the opportunity to represent his home country of Estonia on the national stage this summer, competing in the 2022 FIBA U20 European Championship.
The 2022 FIBA U20 European Championship runs July 15-24 in Tbilisi, Georgia, with Ilver and Estonia scheduled to begin play on Friday.
SCHEDULE OF COMPETITION (ESTONIA)
July 15 (2:30pm CT) - Estonia vs. Iceland
July 17 (2:30pm CT) - Estonia vs. Netherlands
July 19 (4:45pm CT) - Estonia vs. Romania
July 20 (4:45pm CT) - Estonia vs. Luxembourg

Ilver hails from Tallinn, Estonia and played in eight games as a true freshman for the Badgers last season. He played a season-high 11 minutes against Green Bay, finishing with three points and four rebounds.
