On the race:
"The women who competed today at the Loyola Lakefront Invitational took full advantage of this opportunity, raced well as a team and came away with a win over conference rival Ohio State. True freshmam Bella Jacobsen, who ran unattached, finished third and that was a very encouraging result. We had much improved performances from Emma Watcke, Peyton Sippy and Maggie Munson, our top three scorers, and it was nice to see Maddie Mooney and Stella Gillman back in the lineup, helping the Badgers get the win."
Up Next:
The Badgers will host the highly anticipated Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armour on Oct. 14. Racing at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course will begin at 11 a.m. and fans that can't make it to Madison can watch the meet live on Runnerspace.Â
