High School: Three-time Great Northern Conference cross country runner of the year ... three-time state cross country championship qualifier -- finishing 40th as a sophomore, sixth as a junior and 15th as a senior ... three-time conference champion in cross country ... two-time sectional champion in cross country ... three-time state qualifier in track ... finished third in the 1600 meters and fourth in the 3200 meters at state as a junior ... finished fourth in the 1600 and fifth in the 3200 meters at state as a sophomore ... two-time conference champion at 1600 meters ... also won conference titles at 3200 meters and 4x400-meter relay ... set conference record for 3200 meters ... two-time regional champion in the 1600 and 3200 meters ... two-time Academic All-State in cross country ... also competed in nordic sking, qualifying for the state championship twice ... four-time member of the high honor roll ... member of National Honor Society

Why Wisconsin?

"It has been a dream of mine to represent Wisconsin as a Badger, growing up as a Badger fan. From the first time I attended the Camp of Champions, I wanted to be part of the team. The energy and excitement of the coaches and athletes motivated me to set the goal of running for a Big Ten team. I am confident Coach Mick, Coach Mack, and my teammates will push me to new limits, and the rich academics of UW made it an easy choice."
