MADISON, Wis. – The Badgers look to bounce back this weekend on the road with a game at Indiana on Saturday. The matchup between the Badgers and the Hoosiers is set to tip at noon on CBS.

1. LAST TIME OUT: Wisconsin had three players score in double figures at home against Michigan State on Tuesday, led by 19 points from Steven Crowl, plus 14 points from Chucky Hepburn and 13 points from Connor Essegian. Despite shooting 45.5 percent from the floor (25-55 FG), the Badgers fell to a hot Michigan State team that notched its seventh-straight win with a 69-65 victory at the Kohl Center.

2. SHARP SHOOTER: The freshman Essegian continued to display his sharp shooting from beyond the arc, finishing 3-for-4 from 3-point range on Tuesday night against the Spartans. On the season, Essegian is currently shooting 45.6% (31-68 3FG) from downtown, averaging 2.1 triples and 10.3 points per game.

3. BENCH BOOST: Despite Tuesday's loss, the UW bench was a bright spot scoring a combined 20 points. In addition to Essegian's 13 points, sophomore forward Markus Illver added five points, Chris Hodges added a layup which marked his first career points as a Badger.

4. SERIES AGAINST INDIANA: The Badgers trail the all-time series against Indiana, 79-97. However, Wisconsin has won the last five games against the Hoosiers dating back to 2019. Last season, UW swept the season series, earning a 64-59 win at the Kohl Center, then traveling to Bloomington and earning a 74-69 road win.

5. SCOUTING THE HOOSIERS: Indiana currently holds a 10-6 record (1-4 Big Ten), recently suffering an 85-66 loss on the road at Penn State on Wednesday night. The Hoosiers are led by senior forward Trayce Jackson-Davis and Freshman Jalen Hood-Schifino, averaging 17.4 points and 13.2 points per game, respectively. Jackson-Davis is shooting 58 percent (87-150 FG) from the field, and Hood-Schifino is at 44.3% FG (62-140).
