MADISON, Wis. — Ranked No. 15 by Intermat and No. 13 by the NWCA, Wisconsin (7-5, 1-4 B1G) will travel for two Big Ten road duals this weekend to No. 9 Northwestern and No. 5 Nebraska.

2. SCOUTING NO. 9 NORTHWESTERN: Northwestern edged No. 25 Illinois by an 18-17 margin on Friday. Tied 17-17, NU won by criteria with match points scored (52-46). Michael DeAugustino (125) registered a pair of near falls to win a 10-1 major decision. Maxx Mayfield picked up a ranked win at 165 pounds, upending No. 12 Dan Braunagel by an 8-3 margin. Yahya Thomas (149) stayed perfect in Big Ten action, putting away Jake Harrier, 7-3. Trevor Chumbley (157) and Lucas Davison (285) also added wins for the 'Cats. 3. SCOUTING NO. 5 NEBRASKA: Nebraska fell to Iowa last Friday, 34-6. Despite the lopsided finish, the All-American duo of Peyton Robb and Mikey Labriola extended their impressive undefeated seasons with a pair of decisions. At 157, top-ranked Robb defeated No. 21 Cobe Siebrecht in a 7-2 decision. No. 2 Labriola remained undefeated with a 3-2 decision over No. 16 Nelson Brands at 174. No. 5 Brock Hardy took on No. 2 Real Woods at 141. losing by decision, 6-4. Former Badger Kyle Burwick, who transferred to Nebraska for this season, struck first at 133 pounds with a takedown, but Iowa's Brody Teske answered with an escape, a reversal and a takedown to win, 5-2. 4. JON READER NAMED TO GLEN BRAND WRESTLING HALL OF FAME OF IOWA: Wisconsin associate head coach Jon Reader has been named to the Class of 2023 for the Glen Brand Wrestling Hall of Fame of Iowa.
