Badgers complete day three in California
LOS ANGELES – The Wisconsin women's track and field team completed day three of competition in California at the Beach Invitational in Long Beach and Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa. The Badgers set six new personal best marks on the third day of competition.Â
Beach Invitational
Redshirt junior Chloe Lindeman continues her hot streak in the hammer as she broke the school record in the hammer for the second time in two days. The Illinois native finished second overall with a distance of 212-11. The Fullton, Illinois, native broke her own record of 211-8 set on Wednesday at the Cal State LA Twilight. Lindeman currently leads the Big Ten and is ranked 11th in the NCAA.
Redshirt senior Olivia Roberts finished seventh in the hammer with a personal best throw of 201-7, keeping her into fourth all-time at Wisconsin. Redshirt freshman Asia Rave threw a personal best of 186-5 which places her 10th all-time at UW.Â
Bryan Clay InvitationalÂ
On the final day of the heptathlon, Shaina Zinter finished in third place with a personal best of 5,164 points. The day started with the long jump where Zinter finished seventh with a personal best leap of 17 feet, 10 ¼ inches. The javelin throw was the second of the day as she finished third with a collegiate-best throw of 115-0. Zinter won the final event of the day crossing the finish line in the 800 meters in a personal best time of 2:11.59.Â
Danielle Bellino and Madison Mooney both won their respective heats in the 800 meters with times of 2:06.27 and 2:06.54, respectively. Bellino finished 22nd and Mooney finished 24th overall in the loaded event. Vivian Hacker competed in the 5,000 meters open finishing eighth and running a new personal best time of 16:26.57.Â

Competition will continue in California Saturday morning at the Bryan Clay Invitational, the Beach Invitational, and Mt. SAC Relays, with events beginning at 11 a.m. CT.
