Wolverines outlast Badgers in West Lafayette
WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. – The No. 21 Wisconsin women's tennis team (19-6) fell to No. 5 Michigan, 4-0, in the semifinals of the Big Ten Tournament on Saturday in West Lafayette, Indiana. Â

It was a tough matchup for the Badgers, with Michigan being the highest seed in the Big Ten Tournament and ranked fifth overall in the country. The Wolverines were able to elude the Badgers in doubles to win their first overall point and proceeded to win three of the singles matches to seal the victory. It was a resilient fight by the Badgers and one that they did not back down from.

Next up, Wisconsin will play in the NCAA Tournament. The NCAA selection show is Monday, May 1 at 5 p.m. (CT), where the team will find out who they will face and where. Â Â
