MADISON, Wis. -- Twelve Wisconsin women's hockey players and three staff members will head to Lake Placid next month for the USA Hockey Women's National Festival, the organization announced on Tuesday. 

Current Badgers Britta Curl, Lacey Eden, Laila Edwards, Caroline Harvey, Vivian Jungels, Casey O'Brien and Kirsten Simms will join former UW standouts Jesse Compher, Hilary Knight, Cami Kronish, Nicole LaMantia and Abby Roque at the camp, which runs Aug. 7-13 at Herb Brooks Arena. 

In addition, current Badger staff members Stefanie Arndt (athletic trainer), Justin Kakuska (video coordinator) and Sis Paulsen (equipment manager) were invited to work the camp for USA Hockey. 

Following the camp, that will also include 32 under-18 players that will be announced at a later date, USA Hockey will name rosters for the U.S. Women's National Team, the U.S. Under-18 Women's Selection Team and the U.S. Collegiate Women's Select Team. Both the U.S. Under-18 Select Team and U.S. Collegiate Select Team will face Canada for a three-game series Aug. 16-19 in Lake Placid, N.Y.
