2021-22: Redshirt season ... competed as a member of the U.S. women's national team at the 2021 IIHF Women's World Championship, earning silver with Team USA ... invited as one of 28 players to the 2022 Olympic residency program and played in first four games of the 2021 My Why Tour
2020-21: Joined the Badgers midway through the season. Eden played in all 15 games after she joined the team and scored 15 points with eight goals and seven assists... scored the game-winning goal in three games including one at St. Cloud State and one in both games of the WCHA Final Faceoff... scored the overtime goal in the WCHA title game to help the Badgers claim the championship... 10th in the WCHA for freshmen scoring... named WCHA Rookie of the Week in her second week with the Badgers (Jan. 25, 2021) and again on February 8... named February WCHA Rookie of the Month and the the USCHO All-Rookie Team
Prep: From Annapolis, Maryland, Eden brings a ton of experience, both national and international. She played for the U18 IIHF Worlds in 2019 and 2020 and attended the Women's National Team Camp in October. Her freshman year she played for the Washington Little Caps U14 team and her sophomore year the Washington Little Caps U15 team and the Pen Elite U16 team.
The forward attended Shattuck St. Mary's her junior and senior year where she scored 75 goals and had 100 assists over two seasons in 96 games. Her junior season she won a silver medal with the USAA U18 Team. Her senior year she won a gold medal with the USA U18 Team, was a USA Semifinal Player of the Game, won a USA Top-3 Player Award and was named to the IIHF All-Tournament Team.
Personal: Daughter of Bill and Karen Eden... has one older brother, Liam, who played for the University of Miami and now plays at the University of Maryland... shoots right... started playing hockey at 4 years old... played lacrosse, soccer and ran cross country in high school... enjoys boating, water skiing and exploring... loves the lakes of Madison and the potential for pond hockey... outside of hockey her best talent is skiing
