Forward, 6-0, 170, Shoots: L
A seventh-round pick by the Ottawa Senators at No. 206 overall in the 2022 NHL Draft, Dyck scored five goals and nine points in 29 games as a frosh last season at UMass. That included four multi-point performances and a multi-goal game, as well as a pair of power-play markers and game-winning goals for the Abbotsford, British Columbia, native. He scored his first career goal against then-No. 1 Denver in his second collegiate contest.
Playing for the BCHL's Cranbrook Bucks during the 2021-22 campaign, Dyck ranked fourth in the league with 75 points on 34 goals and 41 assists in 54 regular-season games, before adding four goals and five points in six playoff games to lead the team.
His performance got him on the 2021-22 BCHL All-Rookie Team and got him voted a 2021-22 First-Team All-Star, along with fellow Badgers
Tyson Jugnauth and Simon Tassy. He was also a finalist for BCHL Rookie of the Year.
An excellent golfer, Dyck played in a U.S. Open Local Qualifier this past spring at the Orchards Golf Club in South Hadley, Massachusetts, finishing four strokes from a playoff to make the Final Qualifying round.
Dyck is a 2022 graduate of MEI Secondary School in Abbotsford, British Columbia.
