ANN ARBOR, Mich. — The men's Wisconsin swim and dive team fell short against No. 16 Michigan, winning one event on Saturday morning.
Senior Ben Wiegand finished first in the 100 breast, with a time of 55.19. Teammates Matthew Segal, Brayden Henkel and Jack Skarda also finished in the top eight. The men's 200 medley relay and 400 free relay A teams both notched second place finishes.
Yigit Aslan, Yoav Romano and Luukas Vainio went three, four, five in the 500 freestyle, as Aslan finished with a time of 4:29.70.
Chris Morris grabbed a third place finish in the 200 fly, with a time of 1:51.11. His teammate Taiko Torepe-Ormsby was not far behind with a time of 1:52.09.
The Wisconsin A came in second, with a time of 1:29.12, in the 200 medley relay.
Freshman Jaden Eikermann secured a first place finish on the platform, scoring 339.20 points.
