Indiana scored their third go-ahead goal of the night a couple of minutes later. Wisconsin battled and generated chances but could not find another equalizer, and the game ended 3-2 in favor of the Hoosiers.
Notes to know
- Dean Boltz' assist was his 20th point of the season. That's the most for a Badger since 2017 when Christopher Mueller (38), Tom Barlow (25) and Mike Catalano (21) each hit the mark.
- That is the Badgers' first loss at home this season, making them 5-1-0 at home this season.
- Sophomore defender Ellis Jones scored his first goal as a Badger after transferring from Oklahoma Christian in the offseason.
