
Wisconsin drops conference match to No. 12 Michigan

The Badgers fall on the road, 2-1
ANN ARBOR, Mich. - The Wisconsin men's soccer team (6-8-0, 3-6-0 Big Ten) was bested by the No. 12 Michigan Wolverines (11-2-3, 6-2-1 Big Ten) on Friday night.
Markie Hrvojevic scored to tie the game late in the first half, but Michigan earned the 2-1 victory on a goal late in the game.Â
How It Happened:
The Wolverines jumped out to an early lead with a goal in the 2nd minute from Mitar Mitrovic. Nicholas Cassiday and Paulo Ramos were credited with assists.
Wisconsin evened the score just before halftime when Aidan Martinez found Hrvojevic breaking through Michigan's back line. Hrvojevic placed the ball perfectly past Goldson in the 43rd minute on Wisconsin's first shot of the game.

The second half started slow as both teams tried to break the tie. Michigan was able to find the back of the net when a shot by Mitrovic rebounded off of Matisse Hébert's hands back to Michigan. Dylan Davis kicked in the game-winning goal in the 82nd minute following a pass from Raymundo Mendez after the rebound.
