"Coming in to today's race we knew that another day meant putting the work on, get after it, throw everything at us. We sat back off the pace really early because it was pretty hot and made a conscious decision to run together as a team. Both teams got off really heavy, our guys did a good job of staying clam and coming through. We were 12th at 2k. Reading the race exactly as we planned."
