SAN DIEGO – Wisconsin will compete at the 2025 Rady Children's Invitational tournament in San Diego, along with Florida, Kansas and Providence, as announced by Sports San Diego officials on Thursday.

The third-annual Rady Children's Invitational tournament will be held November 27-28, 2025, tipping off on Thanksgiving Day. Each day features two games, with the championship and third-place games taking place on Friday, Nov. 28. Tip times will be announced at a later date. All tournament games will air nationally on either FOX or FS1.

"Quite simply this is an amazing field," said Mark Neville, CEO of Sports San Diego. "It was our goal to bring top college basketball teams to our event and these teams fit that mold. We can't wait for next year."

All ticket holders of the 2024 Rady Children's Invitational will receive first access to secure tickets to the 2025 tournament. New ticket purchasers can join the Sports Sand Diego ticket presale list by visiting RadyChildrensInvitational.com. Tickets will go on sale in spring of 2025.

$5 from every ticket sold will go to Rady Children's Hospital-San Diego.

This will mark the 18th time in the last 20 seasons that Wisconsin has played in a non-conference November tournament. The Badgers have won six holiday tournaments over that span, going 30-13 (.698) since 2005. Most recently, UW claimed the 2023 Fort Myers Tip-Off championship.

This season, the Badgers are competing at the 2024 Greenbrier Tip-Off at The Greenbrier in West Virginia.
