
Six Badgers earn Big Ten accolades

All-Big Ten teams were revealed on Tuesday by conference
MADISON, Wis. - The Big Ten Conference revealed the 2024 All-Big Ten teams on Tuesday afternoon. Wisconsin offensive guard Joe Huber earned third-team all-Big Ten honors and five Badgers were tabbed honorable mention All-Big Ten by the conference's media voters and coaches.
Huber helped the Badgers' offensive line allow only 13.0 sacks during the 2024 season, the 3rd-fewest in the Big Ten and the fewest for UW in a full season since 2014. The unit allowed only 47.0 TFLs this fall, the 13th-fewest in the country.
OL Jack Nelson, RB Tawee Walker, S Hunter Wohler, CB Ricardo Hallman and P Atticus Bertrams all earned honorable mention all-conference honors. Hallman and Wohler earned Big Ten accolades for the second-straight season.

JOE HUBER

Redshirt Senior - Offensive Guard - Dublin, Ohio
Huber was tabbed to the All-Big Ten third team by the media after starting all 12 games for the Badgers in 2024. He completed his second-consecutive season starting every game at right guard.
Huber helped the Badgers' unit allow only 13.0 sacks (T-3rd Big Ten) and 47.0 TFLs (4th Big Ten). Per PFF, Huber allowed only nine pressures across 384 pressure opportunities.
Huber helped open holes for RB Tawee Walker, who ran for a career-high 864 yards and 10 scores. Walker earned All-Big Ten honorable mention status.

HUNTER WOHLER
Honorable mention
Senior - Safety - Muskego, Wis.
As a key team leader and captain in his senior season, Wohler led Wisconsin in tackles for the second-straight year, posting 71 stops. That ranked 5th among Big Ten defensive backs.
Wohler's 51 solo stops ranked T-3rd in the Big Ten and he posted 21 PFF ‘stops’, the 3rd-most among Big Ten safeties with 600+ snaps played.
Wohler wraps up an impactful Badger career in which he totaled 229 tackles, 12.0 TFLs and three interceptions. He became the first Wisconsin DB to reach the 200-tackle mark since Michael Caputo (2012-15).

JACK NELSON
Honorable mention
Redshirt senior - Offensive tackle - Stoughton, Wis.
Nelson started all 12 games at left tackle as part of Wisconsin's consistent offensive line. Nelson allowed only one sack and eight pressures, the 5th-fewest in the Big Ten among linemen that registered 350+ pass-blocking reps, per PFF.
Nelson's 73.8 PFF offensive grade led all Badger offensive linemen and ranked 12th in the Big Ten. Nelson posted a 90.1 PFF grade in Wisconsin's rout of Purdue, the 5th-best mark in all of FBS action during Week 6.
Nelson wraps up his Badger career after playing in 51 career games and making 50 starts. His 50 starts match the most ever for a Badger offensive lineman (Chris McIntosh, Bill Ferrario).

RICARDO HALLMAN
Honorable mention
Redshirt junior - Cornerback - Miami, Fla.
After leading the nation with seven INTs last fall, Hallman played in all 12 games this season as the Badgers' lead cornerback. He was targeted only 33 times across 319 coverage snaps, the fewest in the country for any cornerback with 300+ coverage snaps, per PFF.
Hallman allowed 20 catches, the 2nd-fewest in the country among CBs with 300+ coverage snaps. He posted 16 tackles, 15 of which were solo stops.
Hallman has posted eight INTs and 60 tackles across his four seasons as a Badger.

TAWEE WALKER
Honorable mention
Senior - Running back - North Las Vegas, Nev.
In his first season as a Badger, Walker took over the Badgers' lead backfield role, rushing for a career-high 864 yards and 10 touchdowns. Walker scored nine rushing TDs during Big Ten action, the 4th-most in the Big Ten.
Walker had an impressive month of October, helping the Badgers win three-straight games. He posted 119.3 yards per game during the month, which ranked 4th among Power 4 RBs.
Walker totaled 97 yards on the ground versus No. 1 Oregon, the most for any Big Ten player against the Ducks this season.

ATTICUS BERTRAMS
Honorable mention
Sophomore - Punter - Sydney, Australia
Bertrams improved drastically during his sophomore season as the Badgers' punter. He posted a 45.3 punting average, the 10th-best in the nation and 2nd-best in the Big Ten. His 45.3 clip was the 2nd-best mark in program history, trailing only Andy Vujnovich's 46.4 mark in 2021.
Bertrams put 21 punts inside the 20, the 4th-most in the Big Ten. He posted a long of 74 yards (at USC), the longest punt in the Big Ten this season.
