MADISON, Wis. – Wisconsin women's hockey freshman
Maggie Scannell earned WCHA Rookie of the Week honors for helping the No. 1 Badgers to a sweep of Minnesota State this past weekend, the organization announced Monday.
Scannell scored two goals, including the game-winning goal, in UW's 5-0 win on Saturday. The Wynantskill, New York, native's two goals were tied for the league lead among rookies.
