
Williams and Robbins star in Day 1 of New Mexico Collegiate Classic

Williams finished ninth on UW top-10 record list in the men's 400 meters
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. — The Wisconsin women's and men's track and field team continued its indoor track season at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic on Friday.
Jalen Williams earned a UW top-10 all-time mark in the men's 400 meters thanks to a PR of 47.21 seconds. That earned the sophomore a third-place finish.
Kiley Robbins competed in the 200 meter dash running a season best time of 24.21 seconds as she finished second in her heat and 14th overall. Robbins will continue her weekend of competition on Saturday in the 60-meter preliminary race.

Robbins will be back competing in New Mexico tomorrow morning in the 60-meter dash, she will be joined by Giovanni Wearing, who will compete in the 60-meter hurdles. Events begin at 11:45 a.m.
Madison Mooney will also compete on Saturday as she is set to compete at the Boston University Bruce Lehane Scarlet and White Open. She will compete in the mile at 1:40 p.m.
