MADISON, Wis. — Former Badgers Nigel Hayes-Davis and Micah Potter were named to the 2024 USA Basketball Men's Select Team that will train with the USA Basketball Men's National Team as they prepare for the Olympic Games Paris 2024, as announced by USA Basketball on Friday.
Hayes-Davis, Potter and the rest of the USA Men's Select Team will train daily with the USA Men's National Team from July 6-8 in Las Vegas. They will also travel with Team USA for its USA Basketball Showcase schedule of exhibitions:

July 22: vs. Germany - 2pm/ct, FOX, London
This marks the first appearance with USA Basketball for both Hayes-Davis and Potter.
The USA Select Team features a roster of 12 current NBA or NBA G League players; two players with NBA, NBA G League, international and USA Basketball experience; and one incoming college freshman with USA Basketball experience.

Kevin Durant (Phoenix Suns) and the NBA's all-time scoring leader
LeBron James (Los Angeles Lakers), who owns a pair of Olympic gold medals. Durant and James are joined by

Anthony Davis (Los Angeles Lakers),
Anthony Edwards (Minnesota Timberwolves),

Jrue Holiday (Boston Celtics),
Jayson Tatum (Boston Celtics) and
Derrick White (Boston Celtics).
The 2024 USA Men's National Team will be led by head coach Steve Kerr (Golden State Warriors), who is assisted by Mark Few (Gonzaga University), Tyronn Lue (L.A. Clippers) and Erik Spoelstra (Miami Heat).
In all, 30 select team members have joined USA national teams that have competed at the Olympic Games or FIBA World Cup.
Six members of the 2024 USA Basketball Men's National Team have been on past select teams, including Devin Booker (2016), Kevin Durant (2008), Anthony Edwards (2021), Tyrese Haliburton (2021), Jrue Holiday (2012) and Kawhi Leonard (2012).
